American pianist Steven Paszkowski is a musician of great versatility. Born in Hillsborough New Jersey, he began his studies at the age of seven under Jaques-Dalcroze Diplôme holder Jack Stevenson. Steven received a full ride scholarship to the Jaques-Dalcroze Institute in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. He completed the Five Module program classifying him as an Advanced Certified Dalcroze Instructor; honoring him the youngest American to complete the program.

Steven Paszkowski gigs regularly in both the classical and jazz genres, and enjoys performing original compositions as well. He has professionally recorded multiple classical pieces, and is on two jazz big band albums. Besides from performing Steven is also an acclaimed pedagogue piano and theory teacher; teaching both privately, and in private schools. He has taught at the Jaques-Dalcroze Institute in Bethlehem, has presented multiple master classes in the methodology, and sat on the Jury during testing. Steven has also been hired for multiple positions teaching the understanding of Music Theory at Kutztown University Chamber Camp, and Bach To Rock Music School. He is often called for the position of Keyboard 2 in theatre pit orchestras due to his understanding of creating synthesis patches through digital audio workstations.

Steven Paszkowski holds the Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Kutztown University, and a minor in Jazz Studies. He studied under Dr. Maria Asteriadou, and Neal Kirkwood. Throughout this time Steven performed, and competed, regularly as a soloist in the classical genre of piano repertoire. He also performed regularly in chamber ensembles, jazz combos, and jazz big bands. He has been on four tours with Kutztown University’s top Jazz Big Band, and has performed selected pieces from the Claude Bolling Suite, for Jazz Piano Trio and Solo Violin, with NYC Ballet Orchestra Concertmaster, Kurt Nikkanen.
