WHAT IS LPM? WHAT DOES LPM DO?
Liberty Park Music (LPM) is an online music school. We teach music through high quality videos and supporting materials like homework assignments and fingering charts. Currently we offer lessons on piano, guitar, drum kit and theory. We will introduce more instruments, subjects, and services in the future to give you even more choices.
WHAT’S LPM’S GOAL?
Music is an important part of culture, a beautiful thing to experience, and an enjoyable skill to have. LPM’s ultimate goal is to bring music to everyone, not so that everyone can be the next Yo-Yo Ma, but that music can become a part of more people’s lives. To understand music more than listening to it as background music and to experience music firsthand through playing an instrument, we believe, are rewarding and can enrich our lives.
WHAT MAKES LPM DIFFERENT FROM FREE MUSIC LESSONS ON YOUTUBE?
YouTube provides a wide variety of videos and is without doubt a powerful tool for learning. However, it is not easy to find a set course that help develop your skills long term, and the quality of video production varies. At LPM, we strive to provide a readily available system of lessons, so you could start learning as soon as you decide which subject or instrument you want to learn. We closely monitor the quality of each lesson to ensure an optimal viewing quality and learning experience. Moreover, our lessons are designed to help you grow musically step by step, so you can simply follow the lessons without wondering what the next step should be.
DO ONLINE LESSONS WORK? WHAT ARE BENEFITS OF ONLINE LESSONS? HOW ARE ONLINE LESSONS DIFFERENT FROM ONE-ON-ONE PRIVATE LESSONS?
Online lessons and one-on-one lessons have different pros and cons. While one-on-one lessons allow direct interaction between students and teachers, online lessons provide flexibility and convenience–you can watch the videos anytime, anywhere, and as many times as you need.
For example, you can access the lessons on your computer, laptop, tablet, and smart phone. You can watch them when you workout or commute to understand the concept for the first time. Then you can watch the lesson again with the instrument on your side. When you practice and/or run into problems, you can always watch the videos again to clarify any concepts you don’t quite understand. Submitting your questions for help, postings your issues and comments to start a discussion with other students may also be just what you need to help you get better.

HOW MUCH DO I PAY FOR EACH LESSON?
The monthly rate you are paying is for access to the entire course library.
HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENTS?
We accept major credit/debit cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay. We use Stripe, the industry's leading credit card payment gateway service for your security. The entire checkout process is hosted on Stripe's secure site, and we don't have access to your credit card details.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
If your membership renews by accident (e.g. you forget to cancel it), we are happy to refund, assuming that you haven't been using our service after the renewal.

WHAT LESSONS DO YOU HAVE NOW?
Currently we have piano, guitar, drum kit and theory lessons. Styles we cover include classical, jazz, rock, pop and some Latin American music.
WHAT DOES A LESSON INCLUDE?
Each lesson is a video, supplemented by downloadable files such as worksheets, assignments, fingering charts, practice tips, and chord shapes.
Technical
DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE TO TAKE THE LESSONS?
All you need is a computer or a mobile device that allows web browsing. With a reasonably stable and fast internet connection, your viewing experience is optimized on your desktops, laptops, or tablets.
WHAT DOES THE DASHBOARD DO?
Dashboard tracks your progress in learning. It shows where you have been so you can easily find the last lesson you watched and continue on right away. It is also the gateway to other lessons. You can also see all the courses you have access to and upcoming live workshops.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?
Go to Account > Profile, and then click on the RESET button under “Change password”.
